Unlike the majority of horror games nowadays Little Nightmares uses the atmosphere to its’ own benefit and does not rely on flimsy jump scares to provoke the player, and rather uses it superb dark atmosphere instead. Little Nightmares is a puzzle-platformer at heart that might scare some people away from the game, but We can confidently say everything is extremely well made and thought out. The music is outstanding and sometimes makes the moment that you find yourself in. The mouse and keyboard controls feel clunky so therefore We ended up using a controller for our playthrough. Although the biggest downfall Little Nightmares has is the length of the game.
